New luxury villas in Sicily for 2025

We’ve been busy getting ready for 2025, adding new villas and experiences, designed to make your stay in Sicily even more special. After all, once we’re past the excitement and sparkle of Christmas and back into the groove of everyday life, there’s nothing better than starting to think about summer holidays. We’re offering more choice than ever, with several fabulous new luxury villas in Sicily in our collection. On top of that, we’re offering the chance to save an additional 10% on selected stays if you book by mid-January.

Sicily continues to leap forwards in the popularity stakes and every indication is that in 2025, things will continue in the same vein. New flights and a growing emphasis on travel experiences that focus on adventure, outdoor activities and wellness are also part of the story. Plus there’s more on offer for food and wine aficionados and celebratory activities around Agrigento, Capital of Culture 2025.

What’s new for 2025

Three of our new villas, dotted around the island, have been carefully picked by us to ensure you enjoy maximum comfort and traditional Sicilian hospitality.

Villas in south east Sicily

If you’re looking for somewhere for a big group and are attracted by Sicily’s fascinating south east, 10-bedroom Lumia is a great option.  Set at a mid-point between Ragusa and the powder-soft sands of the beaches of Marina di Ragusa and Donnalucata, the villa looks out over rolling hills towards the sea. The focal point of the garden is a spectacular 18m pool, while indoors, there are generously proportioned bedrooms and bathrooms and, on the ground floor, a magnificent terrace with a wall of sliding glass doors that transforms it into an indoor-outdoor space.

West coast Sicily

On the west coast of the island, Ericea is a beautifully renovated ‘baglio’, exquisitely restored to its former glory. Set against a backdrop of mountains and lush green vegetation close to the rural town of Buseto Palizzolo, the old country house’s historic stone walls and ceramic tiled floors now blend perfectly with contemporary furnishings. The house accommodates 8 people, with 3 bedrooms and bathrooms.

North coast Sicily

Our third new villa is a modern, newly refurbished beachfront home for 8 with a pool and heated jacuzzi right on the sea front at Finale di Pollina, close to Cefalù. The garden at Ad Astra also has a superb outdoor kitchen and direct access on to a generally quiet pebbly beach where parasols and sun beds are set up for exclusive use by the villa’s guests. Ideal for a large family, or group of friends, the villa has 4 bedrooms, each with doors leading on to the garden.

Book early and save 10%

You can save 10% on selected dates and villas, including Ad Astra, if you book a minimum 5-night stay by mid-January. At Ad Astra, the savings apply to holidays taken between 19 April and 6 June, but dates vary between properties.

New Experiences

Sicily’s astonishing history, culture and art will leave you wondering how to find the time to squeeze in a day on the beach! There’s so much to see and do, wherever you stay on the island. Our expanded collection of experiences ranges from snorkelling with dolphins to guided walking tours of Ortigia, Caltagirone and Palermo and Monreale.

Ortigia, Syracuse

There’s also the chance to save if you book 3 Experiences together. Our new Trio Experiences – Food & Wine, Family, Active, Adventure and Wellbeing – is available at selected villas, allowing you to book 3 Experiences and save up to 25%. So, for example, guests staying at Villa Dionisio who want to delve deeper into Sicilian food and wine can book a Food & Wine Trio which includes a cooking class, wine tasting and one delicious Sicilian meal prepared in your own kitchen by an in-villa cook.

Agrigento, Capital of Culture for 2025

Of all of Sicily’s ancient sites, the Valley of the Temples at Agrigento is perhaps the most beguiling and in 2025, the city has been named Italy’s Capital of Culture. This extraordinary archaeological site is home to temples, altars and sanctuaries dedicated to the gods of ancient Greece, including one of the world’s best-preserved Doric temples, the Temple of Concordia. You can visit independently but a guided tour is probably the best way to fully explore the history, mythology and culture of ancient Sicily.

For anyone travelling from the west of England, Easyjet’s launch of a new route from Bristol to Palermo will be welcome news. Flights start in June 2025.
