Overview
How many times have you visited Italy and regretted not being able to chat to the local shopkeeper or market stall holder? Or maybe you have always listened wistfully to non-Italians who are able to order their meal with a flourish – or, at the very least, know how to ask for some ghiaccio to cool down their aperol spritz!
For most of us, holiday time is too precious to spend in a language school but the thrill of learning a new language, or improving an existing one, is infinitely rewarding. This is an opportunity to incorporate a new challenge into your existing holiday schedule – without having to wander too far from the pool!
If you are a complete beginner, the lessons will introduce you to Italian pronunciation and basic conversation skills, equipping you with practical vocabulary and expressions designed to help you in shops, restaurants and on the beach.
For those who already know some Italian, this is an opportunity to refresh existing skills and re-charge those brain cells. If you have learnt Italian in the past, there is a good chance that much of that knowledge is still there and perhaps just needs a gentle nudge and a bit of practice to coerce it out. The content will be agreed between you and your teacher and can focus on spoken, comprehension or written skills, depending on your current ability and preferences.

Your Italian lessons will be with a private teacher and will be held in your villa, either individually or with other members of your group. The duration and number of lessons during your holiday are flexible but must be agreed upon before departure.
Once you have indicated your interest in Italian lessons, we will ask you to provide all details regarding your current proficiency and language learning preferences before arrival.
