OverviewStroll down to the sea from this comfortable 3-bedroom holiday villa with pool, conveniently situated close to the seaside village of Finale di Pollina, a short drive from lively Cefalù and within easy reach of Palermo to the west and the Madonie mountains inland. The villa has direct access to the stony beach.

The villa has an attractive garden, with lawns, a hammock and outdoor shower. The salt-water pool (8m x 4m) is enhanced by multi-coloured LED lighting and Jacuzzi jets and surrounded by a decked sunbathing area. To one side of the villa, a large shaded terrace is furnished with a dining table and chairs and bench seating. A second veranda, again with a table and chairs, sun beds and a large umbrella, provides an alternative sunbathing spot.

Inside, polished tiled floors, beamed ceilings and white-washed walls and painted furniture give this villa a very appealing bright, fresh feel. The living room, dining room and kitchen are open plan but separated from each other by broad archways. The kitchen and living room both have direct access to the garden. There are two double bedrooms, one with garden access, and a single bedroom.

This property is listed as a 'Premium Listing' villa. This means that the deposit payment is due to WishSicily and the full balance will be requested directly by our agency 60 days before the arrival date. WishSicily will provide you with check-in instructions before arrival.

  • Check-in is by 4pm for all guests. Guests may arrive at the villa before 4pm to drop off their luggage.
  • Check-out is before 10am and must be conducted in the presence of the property owner or manager.
  • Refundable security deposit of 400 euros payable in cash upon check-in or via credit card before arrival.
  • The pool is open to guests from May to October.
  • Electricity and air cond. 300 kWh included per week - euro 0,40 per kWh extra.
  • Local tourist tax “tassa di soggiorno”, euro 2 per person/night to be paid upon confirmation of booking.

Area

This unique villa with pool is located at short drive distance to Finale di Pollina, a charming seaside village just a few miles from Palermo, on the northern coast of Sicily. The beach is located at less than 100mt from the house.

Finale di Pollina features good restaurants, trattorie, pizzerie and bars. There is also a good selection of well-equipped supermarkets, greengrocers, butchers and bakeries.

Just 15mins drive via motorway there is the popular fishing village of Cefalù, with its spectacularly sited Norman cathedral, medieval town centre and sandy beach. Cefalù also offers a good and varied selection of fish restaurants and bars. Banks, shops and supermarkets can be found in town.

A little further afield, though still only about an hour away, is the Greek temple and theatre at Segesta. The archaelogical site of Himera can be reached in less than 40 minutes by car.

If you like the idea of leaving the car behind and hopping on a train, the recently opened Finale di Pollina railway station is just 5 minutes’ walk away. The small electric train connects a series of towns along Sicily’s north coast, from Palermo to Messina and including Cefalu. Despite the proximity to the station, the train can barely be heard.

This villa was clean, comfortable and had pretty well everything we needed. The pool is a great asset as are the outside dining areas. The owners have ensured there are plenty of extra pillows, towels, bedding if required and an abundance of crockery, cutlery and glasses. However, the biggest recommendation is for Lella's ready support with any queries we had, from where to eat to when to put out the recycling. She met us on time and showed us around the villa and beach before leaving. A fabulous place to stay. We recommend using the secret shower in the bamboo!

Lovely villa, wonderful location and very nice accommodation. The pool was great for cooling down after day trips. The property has a lot of plates etc. but could do with some bowls for cereal and coffee mugs. For those not drinking expresso portions but copius amounts of weak coffee. The owner was very helpful

Fantastic property, just what was needed for our holiday, all the facilities you could want. Also a great location near wonderful beaches, towns, restaurants, and it even had the mountains within driving distance! Service was excellent! Everything went smoothly. Upon arrival we've been greeted by Giorgio, our friendly and helpful host who showed us the house and gave us some tips for exploring the region. The house simply has a stunning garden and is furbished with an eye for detail. We and our kids felt at home, also because Giorgio was so kind to provide us with amenities like a baby cot and a high chair. The fact that two of the doors were hard to close was only a minor issue.
